Investment Management Pricing
Investment supervisory services are assessed an annualized asset-based fee based on the reporting period ending value of the Client account(s) as described in the following table. These fees will be billed quarterly, in advance.
Assets Under Management | Annualized Asset Based Fee |
---|---|
First $500,000 ($0 - $500,000) | 0.95%* (95 basis points) |
Next $500,000 ($500,000 - $1,000,000) | 0.75% (75 basis points) |
Next $1,000,000 ($1,000,000 - $2,000,000) | 0.50% (50 basis points) |
Amount over $2,000,000 | 0.20% (20 basis points) |
* Subject to minimum fee of $1,000 / year ($250 / quarter) [1]
[1] The California Department of Business Oversight has stated that an asset-based fee greater than 2% of the client’s assets under management may be considered excessive. For this reason, we may recommend that clients with less than $50,000 of assets utilize our financial planning services.
The annualized fee is assessed on a blended tier. For example, a client whose portfolio had an account value of $750,000 during the previous quarter would be assessed a blended fee based on an annualized rate of 0.95% (95 basis points) for the first $500,000, and 0.75% (75 basis points) for the remaining amount above the first tier.
